Do you want to make a difference to the lives of women and girls? Then get involved in celebrating International Women's Day (8 March 2024) by hosting your own coffee morning or event.
Here at World Vision we believe it's important to support and provide opportunities for women and children living in the hardest places. Around the world, women and girls are experiencing violence and mistreatment such as child marriage and female genital mutilation. But with your support we can empower women and girls to know their rights.
That's why we're encouraging people to host a simple coffee morning. You could have friends over for coffee and cake to celebrate our work with women - and to raise funds for World Vision's crucial work. It could be as simple as inviting friends for a brew and asking for a donation or hosting a ticketed event in your home or at a venue.
