Our work

Doing whatever it takes to transform the lives of the most vulnerable children

Transforming children's lives

Our focus is on helping the world's most vulnerable children to overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. Inspired by our Christian faith, we work in the most dangerous places to help children of all backgrounds, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.

We have 70 years of experience working with communities, donors, partners, and governments leading to better futures for over 200 million vulnerable children. Together, we tackle poverty at its roots and work with communities to ensure long term change, so progress continues long after we’ve left.

We couldn't do what we do without supporters like you.

Through World Vision’s work, every 60 seconds a family gets water, a hungry child is fed, a family receives the tools to overcome poverty.

What we do

Helping children in emergencies, extreme poverty, or facing abuse and exploitation.

We respond, empower and protect.

We're called to go where we are needed most, protecting children, empowering families and responding to the greatest need - and we stay until progress can be maintained after we leave.

How you help

Thanks to UK supporters, in 2020 we helped nearly 2 million vulnerable children:
