Contact World Vision

We'd love to hear from you. Find out how to get in touch.

Whether you’ve got a question about donating, our programmes or your sponsorship, you can send a message, email, or get in touch by phone. Below are some of the questions our supporters often ask.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you'd like to update your contact or bank details, please call our Supporter Care Team on 01908 84 10 10.

  • When you give to World Vision, you can be sure your money gets to where it's needed most - and because of our community-focused solutions, for every child helped, 4 more benefit. Read more about how donations are spent

  • If you'd like to cancel or change your regular donation to World Vision, please call our Supporter Care Team on 01908 84 10 10.

  • Login to your My Sponsorship account for top tips and guidelines on how to write to your sponsored child - wherever they are in the world. You can also send messages or photos online. Each year, we’ll send you a Christmas card and a birthday card, which you can write a message in and send to your child.

  • We work with communities for ten years or more, until they are equipped to stand on their own two feet. So when you sponsor a child, you’ll have several years to watch them grow, and see all the change in their community. Your sponsorship will usually last until your sponsored child reaches the age of 18 or leaves education. But it also depends on how long we’ve been working with that community. If you join us later on in the journey, your sponsorship might end sooner, once we’ve achieved what we set out to do there.

If the project where you are sponsoring comes to an end, or your child moves on for any reason, we’ll let you know and give you the opportunity to sponsor another child. This means you'll no longer be able to exchange letters or visit your old sponsored child.

  • If you are thinking about cancelling your sponsorship, please get in touch with us, as there may be other ways in which you can continue your support. The child you sponsor will continue to benefit from the changes in their community and we will do our best to find a new sponsor for them.

  • World Vision is currently running a fundraising campaign over the phone to existing supporters and people who have provided their details in response to one of our campaigns. You may have been called by our team or our partner agencies, Angel and Unity4, on:

  • We use various methods of fundraising, such as immersive experiences at shopping centres and door-to-door fundraising.

These methods help us connect with the public by raising awareness of the vital work we do and helping us to find new supporters. Our representatives will be carrying out door-to-door fundraising across the UK.
