Donate to support children and families devastated by this conflict

Children affected by the Ukraine crisis
urgently need help.

More than a year on from the eruption of war and lives are still being turned upside down by the enduring crisis and continuing devastation. As bombs carry on falling, nowhere is safe. Children are at risk.

That’s why we still need your support to save lives and protect children. We’re working with our partners in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries right now. Responding to the urgent needs of children and families who have been forced to flee their homes and are still unable to return.

Over 13 million people in Ukraine have been forced from their homes. With trauma piled upon trauma, children are suffering. Over a million children could develop severe mental illnesses from the impact of the war. But your donation can help them overcome these challenges.

Help us to act fast to protect children.

How your donation helps

Children are bearing the brunt of this crisis. Your donation today can help provide children and families in urgent need of help with hygiene kits, protection and psychosocial support - including child-safe play areas.

Your generosity has meant that we have been able to reach over a million people. The funds you donate to this emergency appeal will continue to support the emergency response for displaced children and families in Ukraine and neighbouring countries.

Because of you, we have been able to distribute just under 200,000 hygiene kits, keeping children and families safe from disease. Another 50,000 people have benefited from psychological support, helping them recover and rebuild their lives. And over 200,000 children have been able to continue their education, helping them to find normality in the trials of conflict.

But as this war continues, the need only increases.

Your generosity will continue to change the lives of more children and families.

How we work in emergencies

When emergencies hit, children are often the most at risk. That’s why we need to be there – in places torn apart by disasters and conflict.
