Psalm 68:28; 32-35
“Summon your power, God; show us your strength, our God, as you have done before…..
“Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth, sing praise to the Lord, to him who rides across the highest heavens, the ancient heavens, who thunders with mighty voice. Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the heavens. You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.”
Psalm 59:9, 16 and17
“You are my strength, I watch for you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.
… I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
“You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.”
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
But those who hope in the LorD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
“Lord, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, ‘Our ancestors possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good. Do people make their own gods? Yes, but they are not gods!

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
“The Lord is my strength and my defence; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
Nehemiah said, “… Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defence; he has become my salvation.
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
