Northern Ethiopia Crisis Appeal

Hunger is threatening the lives of children in Northern Ethiopia.

Children in Northern Ethiopia need urgent help

After four years of deadly conflict in the Tigray region, tensions and violence are still ongoing leaving children and families in dire need. Hundreds of thousands of families who have been forced to search for safety are living in camps.

In addition to the conflict, drought has killed millions of livestock, destroying jobs and eroding hope. Thousands of schools around the country have had to close due to the loss of livelihoods, shattering children's dreams.

In the past six months alone we have provided nearly half a million people with basic needs such as safe water, essential food supplies and health assistance.

But with violence now increasing many children are still hungry, exhausted and scared. World Vision has identified over 17 million people in Northern Ethiopia as being in need of humanitarian assistance due to drought.

Their food is running out and your support is vital.
