Luke 23:44 – 47

Thanks to generous supporters like you, World Vision has had a significant impact on the food and nutrition of 1,345 families in northern Honduras. Families like Emerita’s who received hens from our charity gift catalogue.

“Now I don’t buy carton eggs weekly because I have productive hens,” explains Emerita. She shares that this initiative has not only improved her family’s nutrition, but has also created better economic opportunities.

Emerita’s 12-year-old nephew, Jonathan, looks after the chickens and is grateful for how they help him maintain proper nutrition for his growth. While her seven-year-old niece, Emily now dreams of becoming an animal doctor in the future.

This project has provided 7,477 laying hens, 1,067 roosters and 11,065 broiler chickens to families in the region.
