Syrian children urgently need your help

Help protect Syrian children

12 years on, millions of children are still suffering. A generation who know only uncertainty and war.

“All of the houses were destroyed. I could hear loud screaming from the pain,” says Shamia, a Syrian teenage refugee.

No child should witness what those in war-torn Syria are currently suffering.

Yet as the Syrian conflict carries on, children continue to suffer. The impact of covid, and an emerging hunger crisis, make the daily struggle to survive even harder.

Children need a place to sleep. They need food, clean water and an education.

Please donate to children in Syria to protect them today.

What you can provide

How you can help

Children and families, forced to flee their homes, are surviving in camps, distressed by what they've seen and experienced.

Camps are at breaking point. Our partners on the ground are overwhelmed by the scale of the needs of the millions of displaced Syrians.

As the conflict drags on through its eleventh year - and with Covid further adding to the devastation - a whole generation of Syrians face being trapped in a cycle of poverty and violence. And children often pay the highest price, with cases of child labour and child marriage increasing to their highest levels in the past year.

More needs to be done to support this generation of children so that they can secure Syria's future once the fighting stops.

You can help to provide food, clean water, education, healthcare, child protection and psychosocial support to children and their families.

You can transform the lives of Syrian children.

Boys and girls aged five or six can name every type of bomb by its sound, but sometimes can barely write their name having missed out on an education.
