Refugee Appeal

In the middle of summer, winter seems so far away. Icy winds, snow and freezing temperatures feel like a distant memory.

However, it will all too quickly become a reality for the majority of Syrian refugee families, who now deeply fear the hardship winter can bring. For many refugees their main concerns are not only food or water, what they fear the most is the inability to keep their children warm throughout the winter.

We need to start sourcing supplies early in order to protect children from the next harsh winter; this includes refugee children in places like Serbia, Lebanon and Jordan.

How your money can help

  • £50 could provide a winter kit for a child, including a winter coat, gloves, hat, warm layers and shoes.
  • £78 could provide life-saving food to a refugee family for a month.
  • £180 could keep a family in a refugee camp warm for the whole winter by providing the fuel canisters they need for heating and cooking.

Your donation will be used to help fund World Vision's work to care for and protect vulnerable children wherever the need is greatest.
