Myanmar continues to deal with the after-effects of Cyclone Nargis and the impact of the global downturn on its struggling economy. Against this backdrop, World Vision has helped families get back on their feet, through its shelter recovery programme and infrastructure redevelopment. In both urban and rural areas, our child sponsorship projects continue to work in partnership with communities to improve access to healthcare and education and build livelihoods that will ensure a better future for their children.
