The current response by governments and corporations is an excellent example of how much power the public has to demand change. And it will only continue if we keep our voices loud and clear. Stop Climate Chaos (www.icount.org.uk), Tearfund (www.tearfund.org.uk/climatechange) and Christian Aid (www.christianaid.org.uk/climatechange) are running some excellent campaigns to influence decision-makers.

Tell others
Just think, you could double your impact simply by encouraging one other person to cut their carbon footprint and giving them ideas about what you do. World Vision UK has done research which shows that people are most likely to change their behaviour because of a friend’s example rather than after reading an article.
