Make your pumpkin a
lantern of hope and
donate to help children
living in fear this October.
A Night of Hope
By carving a heart in your pumpkin, you can create a symbol of hope for children living in the world’s hardest places. And by making a donation, you can bring more hope to children living in fear.
Children like Susan (pictured) and Mary, who fled fighting in her village, in fear of her life. After seeing violence no child should ever see, she ran barefoot for seven days, catching fish to survive.
Mary now lives in a refugee camp, where she wants to forget about the war. We have set up ‘Child Friendly Spaces’ where children can simply learn, play and be children.
“I’m not afraid here and I can be happy” she told us. “I like playing with my friends and going on the swings. It’s so much fun and we laugh a lot”.
But there are many more children who need our help. Give £3 now to help care for and protect more children like Mary.
