The up-and-coming design duo, who have this year created their first ever RHS Chelsea show garden for an international children’s charity, are delighted to have today (22 May 2012) been awarded a Silver medal for The World Vision Garden.
Not only is this the first year FlemonsWarlandDesign have exhibited at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the pair made their challenge even harder by creating a charity garden with a strong story.
Sim Flemons, of FlemonsWarlandDesign, said:
“The garden’s message has always been more important than the medal, for us.
"We were so pleased to be presented with silver by Nicki Chapman on main avenue this morning.
“Although you always dream of a medal, we spent most of our Chelsea journey more concerned about making sure we would be effectively managing to tell people about World Vision’s work with children across the world.”
