Have fun. Change lives.
Charity fundraising with World Vision truly changes lives – and not just the lives of children living in the world’s hardest places, but your own too.
Fundraising for World Vision changed my life. The experience was fun, rewarding and enriching, and ultimately it helped to change children’s lives around the world. Anyone can do it – you don’t have to have any special qualifications or skills, just the heart and will to help others.
- Shemi Virani, ran a half-marathon for World Vision UK
You don’t need to run a marathon like Shemi – unless that’s your thing, of course. Whatever you love doing, you can do it for World Vision. Whether it’s baking cupcakes, playing music, holding themed dinner parties or sponsored sports, your passion will help change children’s lives.
And with World Vision it’s easy to follow your fundraising dream and start your life-changing journey. Take just a minute or two to register your details and we’ll send you a free Fundraisers’ Toolkit on DVD that gives you all you need to get started. You can also request a toolkit by calling us on 01908 24 44 17
How fundraising helps
The money you raise will help children thrive
We will use the money you raise to help children living in the world’s toughest places; setting children free from fear and enabling them to live life to the full.
With your help, we’ll be there to let children living in some really tough situations know they’re loved and cared for. We’ll be there to make sure they can learn, play – and just enjoy being children. The fun you have with your friends could keep children safe, help them achieve their God-given potential and really flourish.
You could help children in Cambodia to stay healthy and drySchool children learning at Toul Trabek primary school near Battambong, Cambodia
During the monsoon season in Cambodia, children can lose weeks or sometimes months of school due to flooded school compounds. They also risk catching water borne diseases caused by toilets that don’t work properly and standing water. World Vision is providing better facilities, so that children can stay dry and healthy, and keep going to school throughout the year.Read less
You could help give families good healthcare much closer to homeNyayiik and her children, Sudan
Nyayiik from South Sudan used to have to walk or cycle for hours to see a doctor when her children were ill. Now she can visit a new health clinic, supported by World Vision and set up under the trees in a village much nearer where she lives. “This health clinic is closer to our home – I have already received my son’s medicine.” You could help more families like hers – and stop children dying from preventable illnesses like diarrhoea, malaria and pneumonia.Read less
