Meet the legacies team

Talk to us on 01908 841060

Our dedicated legacies team is here to help you.

They’re here to answer any questions you might have about making your will or leaving a legacy to World Vision. They’re not legal or financial advisers, but they can:

  • Explain how a gift in your will can help our vital work with children
  • Explain the various types of gifts that you can include in your will and their benefits
  • Help you find a solicitor in your area
  • Talk through the practical steps involved in making or changing a will
  • Send you a copy of World Vision’s free guide to making a will
  • Arrange for you to visit our office in Milton Keynes and talk to our staff about our work

The team work to very strict professional standards, promoted by the Institute of Legacy Management (ILM) and everything you tell them is kept in the strictest confidence.

“It’s a real privilege to help somebody who has lost a loved one find a positive way to channel their grief. I’ve also been lucky enough to visit projects overseas, and see first hand the long-term impact a legacy or a remembrance gift can have. The experiences I had overseas still inspire me every single day.

“Outside of work, I like to spend time working with young people in my church, walking the dogs along the canal or reading a good book.”

“What inspired me to come and work for World Vision was the chance to make a lasting change in the lives of children. I also liked the fact that World Vision is a Christian organisation.

“When I’m not in the office I enjoy spending time with my children and my dog, watching tennis and rugby and cooking for my friends.”
