Matched Giving

What happens when the people you work with get enthused about a project and really pull together on it? They become motivated, enjoy their working life, take pride in their tasks and they experience greater productivity.

Matched Giving is a joint donation by staff and company; employees make an individual donation, either a percentage of their salary or a variable amount, and the company matches it, pound for pound.

This motivates staff and builds team spirit, through uniting the company in pursuit of a worthy cause and corporate goals. World Vision can advise on any aspect of your corporate fundraising activities; for instance:

  • Salary deductions
  • Fundraising events
  • Online donations
  • Phone donations
  • Group donations, e.g. by department, or area/branch for larger organisations
  • Electronic transfers

Corporate partners who have participated in this program have helped World Vision tackle the causes of poverty.
