Join our volunteer team and be at the heart of the event, whilst supporting community-led transformation around the world.

You’ll spend some time chatting with people about the life-changing impact of child sponsorship, and the rest of the time is yours to enjoy the event.

We will:

Cover the cost of your ticket
Train and support you every step of the way as a World Vision volunteer
Provide a free camping pitch (for festival volunteers)

If you love talking to people, want to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children - and you're up for a fun and meaningful experience, then we'd love to have you on the team!

Wildfires

23-26 July
Wiston Estate, West Sussex

Wildfires is the place to encounter God in fresh and transformative ways. Expect Spirit-filled celebrations with Warehouse Worship and Chroma Worship, and inspirational teaching from Tyler Staton, Danielle Strickland, Pete & Sammy Greig and so many more.

Awaken

28-31 August
Lincolnshire Showground, Lincoln

Awaken is the annual gathering of Ground Level churches. Get ready for dynamic worship led by Dave Bell, and inspirational teaching by Paul Benger, John & Brandi Carrano and Gavin Calver. It's a welcoming space to be refreshed, challenged and make new connections.

Within 24 hours you'll receive a confirmation email (sometimes these go to spam so check!) with all the event details and next steps. By signing up you're also allowing us to email you about other volunteering opportunities as they arise - don't worry you can unsubscribe at any time.
Each event is a little different but in general, we’re all about creating moments that inspire people to sign up to sponsor a child and help transform lives.

You might be helping out on the stand, chatting with visitors, cheering people on through fun challenges, or sharing a little about World Vision’s work with the world’s most vulnerable children. But don’t worry there will always be a World Vision Team Leader to support you.
You don’t need any special skills or experience to volunteer at our events - just a willingness to chat and enjoy meeting new people. And if confidence or people-skills are something you want to grow in, that’s totally fine too! If you’re enthusiastic and ready to give your best, we’d love to have you on board.

And remember, you’ll never be asked to do anything you’re not comfortable with. We’re here to support you every step of the way and make sure you have a brilliant time while making a real difference!
Unfortunately we can't re-imburse you. However, you're welcome to transfer your existing ticket to a friend or family member, and you can then receive your ticket from us at no extra cost. Win - win!
If there's anything we can adjust to support you while volunteering, please let us know. If possible, we'd love to make this experience accessible and enjoyable for all.
Unfortunately all volunteers must be 18 years or older to comply with our safeguarding policy. But the good news is there is no upper age limit if you are keen to chat and get involved!
Yes – the more the merrier as long as they are 18 years or over. Just ask them to register as a volunteer too.
In addition to a warm glow (!) you’ll get a free ticket to the event, a World Vision t-shirt, and free camping pitch with other volunteers (if appropriate). Unfortunately, we can’t reimburse your travel expenses.
