About Child Sponsorship

When you sponsor a child with World Vision your regular ongoing gift will help provide a child with life's basics, such as enough food to eat, clean water to drink, healthcare and the chance to go to school. Their community will also benefit in lasting ways through building of wells and schools, and training in farming and healthcare.

Child sponsorship means you can build a relationship with a child in a poor community and know you're giving them a chance to enjoy a better quality of life.

You can write letters to your sponsored child, send cards on special occasions and, if you choose, post the occasional gift. In return you'll receive replies from your sponsored child and, over the years, learn how your sponsorship is helping them.

In addition we'll send annual updates about the progress your child is making, together with how your support is benefiting the whole community.
